My name is Martin and I live and work in the Yorkshire Dales as a web designer/developer.

I've been working with computers since the early 1990s when I lived abroad, mostly as a hobby by using a library's computing suite. The librarians noted that I was "good with computers", (their words) so they gave me a admin access in order to help other computer users (as well as the librarians!) when they got stuck.

I've developed my computer skills since then and continue to do so by finding ways to integrate AI into my work. I've used computer and internet skills to work more efficiently in each of my working roles, finding ways to improve workflows and productivity. I've built half a dozen PCs over the years and upgraded goodness knows how many, so I've built up a fair bit of hardware knowledge, too.

In 2012 my position at a local company became redundant so I took the opportunity I'd been waiting for: I started my own business as a full-time web developer and I've been doing it ever since. I particularly enjoy helping people understand how they can use their website to raise awareness of the business and bring in more customers and clients. I get a real buzz when I look at the stats and see how many people are using my clients' websites.

I've been turning ideas into digital masterpieces for three decades, helping local, national and international businesses establish a robust online presence. My feet are firmly planted in Yorkshire, and I'm passionate about supporting our local economy by empowering local entrepreneurs and small businesses with top-notch website design and development services.
